Uptown

The Maxey Archtops Uptown is a small body jazz box. The guitar is hand carved top and back with bent sides. The top is Spruce with a dark burst, the back is Flame Maple, with Flame Maple sides and neck. Fingerboard is ebony with signature Maxey Archtops mother of pearl inlays. The Uptown is fitted with Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers, along with GraphTech locking tuners and bridge. We love the concept of the small body archtop and this one plays smoothly and has a truly classic tone. The Uptown will inspire harmonic substitutions for common changes, double time lines and finding melodies you haven’t played before.
