The Maxey Archtops Green Street is a tone monster with a ton of soul. Leveraging classic archtop construction of solid woods, hand carved top and back with bent sides, makes for a very responsive and vibrant instrument which is 100% fully hollow with no center block.
The acoustic tone is BIG. The bass is robust acoustically and the high end is clear and singing without ever being thin. The guitar responds to subtle differences of attack when playing single notes and chord voicings sparkle with clarity and balance.
Green Street has a solid carved spruce top, offered in a classic burst finish. The mahogany back is hand carved with matching mahogany sides. The comfortable mahogany neck has a modern medium C shape feel. The 22 fret ebony fingerboard features block mother of Pearl inlays with our MA logo.
Green Street is fitted with D’Addario 10-46 gauge strings, GraphTech locking tuners, and Seymour Duncan P90 pickups, which masterfully convey the acoustic sound of the guitar, creating an airy tone with a hint of bite when you need it.
Green Street has a lot of mojo and is at home playing Blues, Jazz, or Rock on a rooftop.
